Satin fabric is very fine, which is why you use a microtex needle for stitching!
SATIN OR SILK?
People often confuse the term 'silk' with 'satin'. Silk is a raw material, and satin is a way of weaving! Satin fabric can be made from various raw materials, such as cotton, viscose, polyester, and therefore also from silk.
The confusion is probably because silk naturally shines, and a satin weave shines too!
